4 Days To Chefchaouen Tour From Marrakech Via Sahara Desert

First Day : MARRAKECH – KASBAH AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE – VALLEY OF ROSES.

Pick you up at 8:00 in Marrakech and we will go to Ouarzazate by the Tizi ‘n’ Tichka, located at 2260 m above the High Atlas. You will appreciate the landscapes and the beauty of the Berber villages. Will visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, which is the largest Kasbah of Morocco and a UNESCO historical site (this famous kasbah has been used as a backdrop for more than 20 films).

We will have lunch at the Kasbah before continuing in the Dades Valley via Ouarzazate, nicknamed the Hollywood of Africa. We follow the road of a thousand kasbahs before stopping at Kalaat Mgouna.

Second Day : VALLEY OF ROSES – GORGES OF TODRA – MERZOUGA AND TREK CAMEL

After breakfast at the riad, we will cross the valley to see the rock formation “monkey toes”. Leaving the Dades valley towards Tinghir and the Todra valley, we will have a panoramic view of the ancient Berber mud villages overlooking the valley.

Arriving at the gorge, you will walk under the red cliff, 300 m high, where many mountaineers come to practice their favorite sport. Continue to Erfoud and Rissani where we will have lunch and then we will leave for the village of Merzouga where your camel will be waiting for you.

Enjoy camel departures to the mysterious sandy sea of Erg-Chebbi, guided by an experienced guide. After an hour and a half, you will arrive in Morocco’s highest sand dunes to admire one of the most beautiful sunsets of your life. You will then arrive in our Berber nomad tents where dinner, campfire, drum festival and night. in the desert.

Third Day : MERZOUGA DESERT – FEZ :

Your camel wakes you up at sunrise, and then you’ll go quietly by camel to the village of Merzouga, enjoying the unique beauty of the spectacular dunes of Erg Chebbi, where the light changes all day.

Back to Merzouga and after breakfast and a hot shower in the guest house, we will drive to Midelt. We will stop at Zaida to enjoy a barbecue and a glass of mint tea before continuing to Azrou, a Berber village located in the mountains of the Middle Atlas.

I will stop to see the barbarian monkeys in the cedar forest. We continue then to Ifrane called the French village or the Moroccan Switzerland, stopping for a photo or a drink before arriving at your accommodation in Fez.

Fourth Day : FEZ DAY IN CHEFCHAOUEN.

After breakfast, We head to Ouarzazate via the Draa Valley stop at Agdez to visit Kasbah Tamnougalt before continuing to Ouarzazate. Here we can enjoy a tour of the movie studios that is known as Hollywood of Africa. Then we will visit Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a palace of Pacha Laglaoui classified as World Heritage by UNESCO in 1987.

This Kasbah has been used as a backdrop for more than 20 films, including “Gladiator”, “Indiana Jones” and “Lawrence of Arabia”. Enjoy a walk to discover the architecture of the traditional Moroccan style in which kasbahs are built. We continue our way to Marrakech by the High Atlas Pass and Tizi n’Tichka. Lunch break in the middle of the Atlas Mountains. Arrival in Marrakech towards the end of the day. We deposit you at your Hotel.
